West Branch, Mich. – Ogemaw Hills Free Clinic recently received a $100,000 grant from the North Central Michigan Community Foundation (NCMCF) to support its health programming and services. The grant comes from the Jim and Loretta Howard Fund at NCMCF, which supports health care needs for residents of Ogemaw County and surrounding communities.
Ogemaw Hills Free Clinic is helping to remove barriers to care, bring new services within reach, and strengthen the future of a clinic on which many depend. Services provided include lab work, x-rays, prescriptions, at-home medical supplies, diabetic testing kits, emergency food packages, and more.
"We are deeply grateful for this extraordinary gift from the Jim and Loretta Howard Fund. At Ogemaw Hills Free Clinic we believe we are called to serve our community,” says Clinic Director Lori Tet
