Urgent Needs Fund

New fund established to meet immediate needs of our region

2019 NCMCF Annual Report

U.S. 2020 Census Nonprofit Hub

Your voice counts. So be counted.

As a health precaution, NCMCF offices are closed to the public until further notice. Our team continues the Foundation's work remotely. All staff are accessible via email and phone. To contact us, please email, or call the office and leave a message. To provide our team additional time and space to care for ourselves and our loved ones, NCMCF virtual offices will be closed at noon on Fridays through September 4.

We are actively monitoring developments related to the COVID-19 outbreak and how it may impact our community. To get or give support to northeast Michigan during this crisis, learn about the new URGENT NEEDS FUND for our region.

From the Boys and Girls Club about a Women's Giving Circle grant for the SMART Girls program...giving girls confidence and connections.

"The mentoring component of Smart Girls gives adolescent girls the opportunity to reach their full potential through a structured and trusting relationship with a female mentor who helps them develop their confidence, connection, character, caring and contribution. By developing a healthy relationship with staff at the Club the confidence of our young females will build healthy lifestyles for their future. By having caring, trusting female adults facilitate important life learning discussions, we are preparing these young females to successfully transition to the adult world." ?
