Types of Funds at the Community Foundation
Agency Funds
An Agency Fund may be established by a charitable organization to provide a stream of revenue to fulfill its mission well into the future. Our staff can help develop planned giving programs and assist with investment management and administrative details.
Designated Funds
A Designated Fund may be established by a donor or an organization to benefit one or more specific charities. Help provide ongoing funding for a senior center, museum, your church, or virtually any nonprofit charitable organization.
Donor Advised Funds
The fund advisor recommends grants to charitable organizations or projects. Individuals, families and businesses may be especially interested in a Donor-Advised Fund. Why establish a donor-advised fund instead of a private foundation?
Scholarship Funds
The Scholarship Fund provides the expertise to help you meet your personal goals and awards scholarships to deserving students. Your gift can help students achieve their career goals.
Unrestricted/Field of Interest Funds
An Unrestricted Fund provides flexibility to enable the Community Foundation to respond to the community's most pressing needs, today and tomorrow. Earnings can be used to meet ever-changing community needs - including future needs that often cannot be anticipated at the time your gift is made.
