This permanent endowment fund was created through a bequest from the Estate of Bernard Kanthack. The fund will provide annual grants to Hospice of Michigan for their Alpena Grievance Committee; Huron Humane Society; Alpena Boys and Girls Club; St. Bernard's Friendship Room; and Alcona Health Center to assist patients living in Alpena County.
