Grants support Cheboygan County and Presque Isle Counties were widespread flooding created urgent needs for disaster relief efforts like food assistance, cleanup support, debris removal, and temporary sanitation solutions for residents without power or plumbing.

The Straits Area Community Foundation (SACF) recently approved six grants totaling $4,850 through its 2026 Youth Advisory Council (YAC) grants.

Community Impact and Urgent Needs Fund grants are available to nonprofits serving Cheboygan County.
