Ogemaw Hills Free Clinic recently received a $100,000 grant from the Jim and Loretta Howard Fund at NCMCF to support its health programming and services.

NCMCF awarded 14 new grants totaling $23,534 to local nonprofits for programs and projects benefiting residents of Crawford, Ogemaw, and Oscoda Counties through its 2025 Community Impact Grants.

Students in Crawford, Ogemaw, and Oscoda Counties received a total of $119,680 in scholarships through the North Central Michigan Community Foundation (NCMCF) 2025 competitive season.

Vaping and tobacco use, personal hygiene, and mental health top the list of issues the youth of Crawford, Ogemaw, and Oscoda Counties feel are affecting themselves and their peers.
