Friends of the Foundation support the Iosco County Community Foundation (ICCF) by contributing equally each year to the Iosco County Community Improvement Fund and the Iosco County Affiliate Administrative Fund. Both of these funds are critical to ICCF's good work in our communities. Our Community Improvement Fund is used for general grantmaking, and allows ICCF the flexibility to meet our community's needs as they change and evolve year to year. Grants from this fund support a wide variety of programs through our local nonprofits. Our Administrative Fund is key in helping the ICCF Board increase awareness of the Community Foundation, provide important publications each year like our Annual Report, as well as hosting the annual Philanthropist of the Year event. This event honors an Iosco County resident nominated by community members, who has given of their time, talents and resources for the betterment of Iosco County.
