The Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan (CFNEM) Board of Trustees elected four new officers to lead the Foundation for one year, with their officer terms ending in March 2023. Andy Stone of Posen is the new President; Katie Young-Engstrom of Alpena is the new Vice President; Joyce McCoy of Alpena is the new Secretary; and Lois Marshall of Hubbard Lake is the new Treasurer. Debra Kruttlin of Harrisville is the outgoing president and will continue on the Executive Committee as Past President.
“It is an honor to represent the Community Foundation as its Board President, and I look forward to supporting the whole board and its staff as we continue to achieve the mission of fulfilling the goals of our donors and addressing the needs in our community,” says Stone (left). “Core values are strong in northeast Michigan, and this really makes it a great place to live.”
Also in March, two CFNEM Trustees, Timothy Kuehnlein and Shanna Johnson, completed their third three-year terms on the Board, and Youth Trustee Leah Themel completed her two-year term. Rebekah Carlson will take over as Youth Trustee, and a new Youth Trustee Elect will join the board in June 2022.
