The Iosco County Community Foundation (ICCF) is accepting applications for its 2021 competitive scholarship program. Current and former graduates of high schools in Iosco County are invited to apply.
Many of the scholarship opportunities available through ICCF depend upon the high school from which a student is graduating, the college they plan to attend, or their planned field of study. Additionally, some scholarships are for students who have already graduated from high school, and also for those planning to attend a certificate program or trade school. To be eligible, students must complete the application by the March 1, 2021, deadline.
All scholarships must be applied for directly through the Community Foundation’s online platform. Students applying for awards will complete one online application; and will be considered for any scholarship for which they are eligible.
Students from Iosco County should visit iccf-online.org and look for a green piggy bank picture to apply for scholarships from their region.
A new scholarship being awarded for the first time this year is the Tawas Area Education Foundation’s Tawas Beach Club Scholarship.
Scholarships awarded during the 2021 competitive scholarship program are for the 2021-22 academic year and are paid directly to the educational institution the student will be attending.
The Iosco County Community Foundation is a charitable organization committed to providing people who care about the future of our area with unique and effective ways of supporting their community now, and for generations to come. Led by a volunteer board of local citizens, the foundation oversees a group of permanently endowed funds from a wide range of donors. Gifts of all sizes from individuals, families, businesses, and agencies are invested in a balanced, well-managed portfolio to build endowments, enabling support for local community nonprofits now and forever. ICCF is an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan.
